Trainings
Whether you are a beginner or a system manager, our regular online training courses will teach you how to use our solutions safely and efficiently. On request, we can also train you directly on site - individually and practically.
LABS/Q® Reporting: Configure LABS/Q® module reports; Jasper Reports, autom. reporting
This course provides you with an overview of the available reporting tools and how to control reports (distribution lists, regular reports, etc.). The focus is on creating and/or integrating reports in LABS/Q® and accessing the required data (masks, tables, fields). In practical exercises, you will configure reports in LABS/Q and/or Jaspersoft® Studio. You should have basic knowledge of LABS/Q as well as basic knowledge of HTML and SQL in particular. The training is offered for the current LABS/Q® version. For older versions, customer-specific training can be offered on request.
LABS/Q® System Management
The aim of this training is to impart knowledge for the independent administration and configuration of a LABS/Q® system. Basic data processing knowledge is an advantage.
LABS/Q Test equipment management
This training is intended to show the handling and the possibilities of the test equipment management integrated in LABS/Q®. Working techniques, prerequisites (master data) and operating options will be taught and trained by means of practical examples and exercises.

Does GUS LAB offer a LIMS for my industry?
LABbase® is basically suitable for all industries whose operations include laboratory-relevant work. Currently, LABbase® is used in the following economic sectors: contract laboratories, production laboratories in the chemical as well as food and beverage industry, control authorities, environmental monitoring and water management. There is no obstacle to its use in other industries, as LABbase® can be flexibly adapted to individual customer requirements due to its modular design.
Does GUS LAB offer a mobile solution?
Q/LES is the mobile extension of our LIMS LABS/Q, which supports laboratory staff directly at their workstation and creates the basis for the paperless laboratory. The Q/LES app provides employees with exactly the information they need to process their samples - directly on their tablet. Results are entered directly at the source, without cumbersome detours via paper and time-consuming transfers. All recorded data is transferred to the connected LIMS in real time. With the Q/LES app, you save time and avoid errors - a real benefit for the quality and efficiency of your laboratory work!
What interfaces does the LIMS offer?
GUS LAB offers an interface to Balvi iP, a software system for official monitoring, as well as to the AVV data catalogs of the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety for inspection authorities in the veterinary and food sector. The general interface module blomesystem® LabDDI is used for standardized data transfer (DDI - Device Data Interface). In addition, blomesystem® QDI provides a certified interface to the QM module (quality management) of SAP® R/3 - for all analytical laboratories that work with the SAP® QM module for quality testing (QDI - QM Data Interface). There are also interfaces to various environmental databases of federal states such as TEIS, TWIST, Octoware and SEBAM.
I have special requirements. Can the LIMS map these?
One of the greatest strengths of LABbase® is its flexibility and modular design. It can handle all workflows - no matter how complex or unique they are. With the help of the two tools blomesystem® Designer and blomesystem® Report Generator, LABbase® can be adapted in such a way that it precisely maps all laboratory routines, no matter how individual they may be. This flexibility is also of great advantage when processes change quickly - as is often the case in laboratories. This means that LABbase® pays off more in the medium term than a product that is perhaps less expensive but less flexible. Many LABbase® customers have been using the solution for more than 10 years and have repeatedly adapted LABbase® to new requirements during this time.
