Drug release requirements
Release testing of pharmaceutical products is carried out to predict the bioavailability of an active ingredient already during the development of a new dosage form, during stability testing and in quality control. Set-up, execution as well as analysis, evaluation and reporting are very extensive and time-consuming. Information is collected by automated release systems and analyzers and evaluated in context as well as graphically processed. A central documentation is particularly important for later research as well as for the comparison of data.

The Dissolutions module of VALIDAT Laboratory Software provides extensive functionalities for planning and manual as well as automatic
Acquisition of measurement data ready. These data can be measurement data of release automats or measuring devices and systems, but also calculations and evaluations (e.g. extension of the test scope), a statistical evaluation as well as a graphical visualization of the data or the reporting and documentation of release tests. The calculation of all relevant parameters, including f1/f2 values for profile comparison, is also ensured.
The individual drug release studies are available in a comparative database, which allows fast and flexible research and compilation of comparative projects in the drug release laboratory software.

Legacy data transfer
Your data does not have to be lost. Via an import function, your old data stocks can also be transferred to the central database.
Central documentation
Test data on drug release (dissolution) as well as data from development, stability tests and quality control are documented centrally and uniformly, regardless of the equipment and analytical methods used. The associated documents are also archived in the DMS.
Simple and safe transfer of the measurement data
Manual transfer errors are eliminated because the data are automatically transferred by VALIDAT, whether directly from the automated release systems (e.g. WinSOTAX), from measurement systems such as Agilent UV-VIS instruments (e.g. Cary UV-Vis), from CDS systems (Waters Empower, Thermo-Fisher Chromeleon, Agilent EZChrom, etc.) or even from a LIMS (e.g. LABS/Q®).
Uniform evaluation and assessment
In VALIDAT, evaluations and assessments of the results are always performed directly and correctly based on the validated processes and functions.
Report generation
Based on report templates of the VALIDAT laboratory software, uniform reports on the release are generated and documented in the DMS. The document can be printed, exported in .rtf, .doc or .html format as well as displayed as .pdf file.
